Blogging at Last, a Dream Come True For Me!
World traveler looking for sweet dreams!!!
I never thought that I would be blogging the way I am actually doing right now and for me it is really a dream come true. Credit is due to my good friend who helped me get started after I made some great comments regarding her reaching a milestone in her travel and food trips blog and how I have always wanted to blog about my travels. She encouraged me to set a target date as to when I can start my blog and get on with it. I got a domain to use so when we had my website set up; she even offered to host my new website. Wow, incredible luck I got! I am now a true blogger in my own right. I never thought this day would come sooner than I expected. I can now call myself a certified blogger but as a new kid in the block I still have so much to learn and do as a new travel blogger. I am learning fast and easy, thanks to my more than able and willing mentor/tutor friend and for that I am truly grateful. I owe her a lot of thanks for helping me build my website and host it, then make my coveted dream come true. Thanks and Cheers!
Our newly found friendship started in November of last year (2012) when I gladly sponsored one of the apps she needed to use on her blog site regarding photo hosting and by January of this year (2013) my new website was all set up and ready to go, so here I am firing away, blogging to my heart’s content. I’ve never been so happy knowing that I can now blog and blog all I want and for all the good reasons to blog about my travels in the past, at the present time and into the near future. This blog also helps me to write some self-blogs on my personal thoughts in a way that it somewhat relieves a lot of stress in my everyday life. Where else can I rant and rave without annoying the people around me? Online in my blogs, where I can pour my heart out and probably bare my soul a little bit. I’m not even sure if other people read my blogs or not but if they do I’m thankful to have some readers all along.
Everyone have their own reasons why they blog. Perhaps for pleasure, for profit or just for leisure. As for me I blog for the fun of it, maybe for leisure and pleasure but not for profit (AdSense from Google). I enjoy blogging and for years I have been writing on my journals, sort of blogging but in a private manner, not online. With all my journals and diaries hidden in my room, I did get all the practice that I needed to blog away. Try it sometime and I guarantee that you will have the time of your life and have fun in the process like I did. Why do I blog if it didn’t make any income for myself? Because I am fulfilling a dream and who needs to get paid just to fulfill their own dreams and be happy doing it. Perhaps when I would need a second income then I will change my mind and add those ads on my website and other money making ways or projects. As for now I am happy and contented just by blogging my own way. I have retired recently and with all the time I’ve got on my hands and with all the retirement savings that I have accumulated, I don’t see any need for a second income yet, perhaps someday when the need arises then I will get a second income going. Let’s be practical because everyone can make use of some extra income one way or another. If you have read this blog and dream that someday you, too can blog your travels online and have your own website, then go for it and have some real fun!
