I love the funnel cakes, deep fried and dusted with confectioner’s sugar, then drizzled with strawberry sauce and topped with either fresh strawberries or ice cream. It’s one of the most famous food in the park so if you want your share then go to the Alphorn Funnel Cake Store located on International Street and line up when they open before the crowd gets there. Sometimes you’ve got to wait half an hour for the next batch of funnel cakes, from the huge frying bin to be ready and before the line up gets worse and the waiting time a bit longer. And now, they are having the 2013 Funnel Cake Faceoff! I just voted for the Funnel Cake with Fire Roasted Fuji Apple and Salted Caramel Sauce to win!
