Having fun at Canada’s Wonderland Park! Part 2
On the other hand, you can also spend the whole day playing games, winning or losing them and getting stuff animal prizes or you can enjoy your day riding all sorts of roller coasters, from the Mighty Canadian Minebuster with its immense wooden track that is full of side-winding turns, stomach lifting camel humps and breath-taking drops, to the swinging vortex, or to The Bat roller coaster ride so fast like a bat flying, it will literally take your breath away when the Bat riders are pulled backwards and launched through an unyielding corkscrew and a breathtaking loop! There are lots of roller coaster rides to chose from the most timid ride to the scariest like the Leviathan which in 2012 Canada’s Wonderland unveiled as one of the biggest and tallest roller coasters in the world. On Skyrider, the myriad riders soar through loops, sharp bank curves and a side-winding helix while standing up on what is similar to a bike seat! There’s more rides like the Backlot Stunt Coaster, Behemoth that takes you up 230 feet and then sends you speeding down at a 75 degree angle of descent with speeds reaching up to 125 kph! Then the Dragon Fire that’s going on a loop upside down and dropping all those loose coins in your shirt pocket, Flight Deck which is Canada’s only inverted looping jet coaster, Night Mares, Orbiter, Psyclone, Riptide, Shockwave, Sledge Hammer, Thunder Run a ride through Wonder Mountain, Time Warp, Wild Beast, WindSeeker, Drop Tower and the Xtreme Skyflyer which is Canada’s largest free-fall swing!
Or just enjoy live entertainment at the Wonderland Theatre that resembles a castle and get ready to be mesmerized by the acrobatic performances in Cirque Ambiente featuring an incredible showcase; (they used to have different broadway shows presentation here) or dancing and singing at the outdoor circus tent-like structure known as the International Showplace. New for this year 2013, the British are coming is an all musical revue that features the awesome songs of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Spice Girls, Adele, One Direction and many other UK artists! This is the fun of going to a recreational park.
They also have lots of surprises at the park. Once I got spotted wearing a Toronto T-Shirt on CityTV day at the park and I won two-free passes to Canada’s Wonderland Park! Then you could also spot big stars or celebrities walking around the park having fun just like everyone else. They don’t mind giving autographs or having their photos taken with fans, mind you we are not the Paparazzi! They love getting all that attention, the Stars, I mean.
There’s more at the park that I will blog about. The family and kid’s rides and the splash works. There are special event days at the park; like Canada Day, or Labour Day, maybe even different nation’s Independence Days (American, Filipino, Italian, Greek, Ukranian, British, Japanese, Chinese and much more) and there’s also the Dinosaurs Alive experience. Aside from dining and rides, there’s lots of stores to go shopping for souvenirs. It’s a fun place to visit and all our guests, family, and friends visiting the city gets to enjoy a day or two at Canada’s Wonderland Recreational Park.
The opening day is on the 5th of May and I have my 2013 Season Pass ready to use for Canada’s Wonderland upcoming 2013 Season!
