Miracles at Lourdes
I thought that I was done with my Lourdes trip blog but there’s one last thing I’d like to talk about and it’s the miracles itself at Lourdes. I saw this video on Youtube that I would like to share with all of you but unfortunately it was no longer available so I’ll just talk about what happened and review the events here.
That heartwarming episode shows two persons cured of their illnesses completely, a Frenchwoman who became a nun after her miraculous healing and authenticated by the church. And an American woman whose loving mother never gave up hope for their beloved daughter with an unknown sickness the doctors can’t find a cure but never seek any authentication from the church for her miracle healing. Her family brought her to Lourdes when she was already very weak, unlike the Frenchwoman who was healed, she was already in a coma when she was brought to Lourdes. At the baths there was no way they could have soaked her body for a minute inside the tub so they poured the holy water on her head instead while prayers were said by her mother and together with the nuns assisting the sick. Uncured and untouched by healing she was allowed to rest after that grueling task in the bath. In the middle of the night, she woke up and stood by the mirror standing on her own two feet, when they had given up all hopes of healing, yet her grandmother stayed with her in the room that night hoping against hope that a miracle can still happen. Lo and behold she was cured, watching that video witnessed by others made my heart cry with joy, tears of happiness, that was all I could say. Watch it and be amazed by the power of the miracles at Lourdes. I was quite amazed and the more my faith strengthen upon seeing and watching that miracles do still happen in this time and age. With this happy note, I will bid ‘Adieu’ means farewell to my Lourdes blog.
