Why I had to quit FB and other social media madness
Hoax or not! It’s about time to really quit some of these social media craze. To be “Far from the Madding Crowd”, as they often say. When I did quit FB, it felt so great to be FREE at last!
I have always wanted to quit but didn’t find a good reason to do so. But now that I do have a good excuse and I QUIT FB! Well, some of my FB Friends will or will not miss me and who cares really. We can always email each other or chat on Viber online and won’t cost an arm and a leg, LOL.
Yeah, it’s probably the greatest ‘HOAX of the CENTURY’, that FB is going to charge fees and I fell for it, hahaha. There’s probably a bunch of us out there who fell for it and quit. Well, the news looked so real, I just didn’t bother to check it’s validity and see if it was genuine or fake. What a ‘Hoax’ it was but who really cares. There are some gullible people who thought it was for real and there were others who recognized it as a ‘hoax’, good for them.

What’s next: Twitter, Flickr, Pinterest or Instagram, who knows?
As for me, I will have more time in my hands to spend with my family, friends and relatives in the real world or shopping in the mall, going to the movies and visiting the libraries instead of wasting so much time online. There will be more long driving travels, skiing trips and biking around town. More fresh air but less time sitting and being glued in front of the computers at home or in school. We can have more get together parties and lots of fun bonding together. Freedom from FB and then Life goes on.
Last Note: Sorry, I didn’t tell some of my friends that I quit FB, maybe even for all the wrong reasons but I’m glad I did though. I’m done with FB. Plot Twist. Move on…
How about you? Still stuck on that social media craze?
